BIKE Ministry News:
On April 30th, members of the church had a chance to work with the New Holland Police Department, Garden Spot Fire Rescue (GSFR39), and many other community members to tune up/repair children's bicycles, provide those children with free helmets, and teach them how to safely ride their bicycles throughout New Holland.
Our role in this event is all part of the church's bicycle ministry that we recently launched. The hope is to continue repairing bicycles for the community for no charge, while also providing free rehabed bicycles to those people who need them. For more information about how you can help, please contact the church office or message us on Facebook.
We are looking forward to helping with this annual event again next year and many years to come! Thanks to everyone involved for both your participation and donations!
As many of you know by now, EUM recently launched a bike ministry to help children and adults in New Holland have safe and effective bicycles to use. Our first event was on April 30th when we acted as a 'Pit Crew' at the 2016 Bicycle Rodeo and Safety Day, along side the NH Police Department and Fire Department. We helped to fix 25 children's bikes and met with almost 50 kids, including their families. The day was a huge success and we are excited to participate again next year. Moving forward, we are looking for donations of parts and bikes so that we can give children and adults who need them free, rehabed bicycles. We see a lot of ministry opportunity through this and are excited about the direction we are moving. Praise God for the opportunity and please pray for continued impact and growth!
